Rain, rain and more rain. Good thing this is a free day. Slept late, big breakfast, intended to wash the motorhome but with all the rain and planned gravel stretches tomorrow, why bother. Had a ride around town, bought some groceries, visit Fort Seward, built shortly after the gold rush, de-commissioned 1947. Lots of the original building are still there but converted to private homes and businesses. We drove to the end of an inlet to a fish packer intending to buy some fresh fish but they were closed. Had an early evening as tomorrow is a 200 mile day.
Enlisted mens' housing:
Housing converted to businessOfficers' quarters
Fire house and hose drying building
